New Zealand wine brand Shorn has extended its range with the launch of the new ‘Shorn on Tour’ 1.5lt pouches (rrp £11), currently available in two varietals, Californian Pinot Grigio and Shiraz.
Distributed by Kingsland Drinks, the Shiraz is smooth, rich and jam-packed with ripe black fruit and a hint of cherry, whilst the Pinot Grigio is light and fresh with flavours of citrus fruits and pear.
The Shorn range also comprises two crisp Sauvignon Blanc and a delicate Pinot Grigio Fizz, and has been very successful for the drinks company. Research shows that consumers, who discover Shorn, love Shorn, with brand loyalty scores comparable to leading wine brands.
Kingsland Drinks’ Wine PRO research, in collaboration with YouGov, showed that the pouch format was well-liked and is especially appealing to younger consumers, under 35-years-old. The pouch format is robust, convenient and ideal for both at-home consumption and outdoor events such as BBQ’s and festivals. The packaging is 95% lighter than the equivalent glass bottle and once opened, allows the product to stay fresh for up to 4 weeks.
