Scottish c-store chain David Sands has added two stores to its portfolio and is on the look-out for more in the region.
Its new store in Wellesley Street, Methil, was formerly two offices which have been upgraded and refurbished, while the outlet in St Andrews Street, Dunfermline, was already trading as a c-store with a post office. The company now has 22 shops in Scotland.
Managing director David Sands said the two outlets, representing an investment of £800,000, were part of its growth strategy following the £1.5m investment in a head office and warehouse in Kinross.
“With this infrastructure and IT systems now available to us, it is our intention to seek further store acquisitions in similar communities and neighbourhoods,” he said.
The company has also introduced a new logo with the strapline: ‘Your Friendly Local Store…with a whole lot more!’.
