Residents of Holton-Le-Clay are now benefitting from significant improvements to their local Lincolnshire Co-op food store and Post Office following a significant refurbishment.
As well as giving the outlet a modernised look, the massive £500k refresh has seen new and enhanced products and services introduced at the store.
The group offers a Love Local range that supports local business, featuring products like Alfred Enderby smoked salmon and haddock from Grimsby and Cote Hill Cheese from Market Rasen.
A new Your Community Shop fascia has also been installed outside the food store, as well as a new community unit inside, where customers can donate essential supplies to their local food bank, We are ONE as well as recycling soft plastics and batteries.
Amy Holloway, store manager, said: “We’ve had a fantastic response from our customers, who are enjoying their refreshed modernised food store, and our new services are already very popular.
“The team is excited to continue offering customers an even better shopping experience and giving them further choices of products when they visit us - we’re delighted with the transformation.”
Launched in September 2024, the co-operative has since invested over £8m into 49 outlets across food, funeral, pharmacy, travel and Post Offices.
