Last Friday (21 August) saw the opening of Co-op’s newest store, welcoming members and customers of the community into the new Fulham Palace Road Co-op.
The new store measures nearly 3,000 sq.ft. and “conveniently offers Co-op’s extensive range and choice of fresh and healthy products, meal ideas, food to go, Fairtrade products and more,” Co-op said.
Situated close to Charing Cross Hospital, the store has created 15 new jobs and also includes a range of added services to make everyday life easier for busy consumers and commuters, including payment services via PayPoint and parcel collection through DPD.
Sajid Ashraf, Co-op’s area operations manager, said: “We’re delighted to launch Co-op’s newest store - which looks fantastic as we open the doors and welcome the community as they pop into their new Co-op.
“We invest to create local stores which are more than just a shop. They’re a hub contributing to local life and meeting the needs of communities, with a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone.
“We’re proud to have the opportunity to serve Fulham Palace Road, and look forward to welcoming the community into their new Co-op.”
