Retailer fined for out of date food offences
A shop owner in Kent has been fined £3,465 after a Trading Standards crackdown on food sold beyond its ‘Use By’ date. Krisnnapillai Saseendran, who runs a Spar and a Costcutter in Margate, was convicted of 21 offences under the Food Safety Act.
