Wild Trail has added a new carrot cake flavour to its range of fruit, vegetable and nut snack bars.

The bars are designed to appeal to consumers looking for free-from and natural products to snack on-the-go and those with active lifestyles looking for a natural source of energy and sustenance.

The five-ingredient carrot cake bar is the first in the range to use cashews rather than peanuts and is also the first Wild Trail bar to feature a vegetable ingredient (100% dried carrot). These ingredients are mixed with raisins, gluten free oats and ground cinnamon to create a delicious and filling snack that is gluten and dairy free, high in fibre, vegetarian/vegan and with no added sugar.

Welsh brand Wild Trail launched last summer with its Apple, Cacao and Seed & Nut flavours. In the last twelve months the brand has seen its profile and sales increase as it gains listings in grocery retail and independents. The new Carrot Cake bar will sit with the rest of the range at RRP £1.00 (46g) and RRP £2.50 (4x30g).
