Warburtons has created a Protein range of baked goods.
Baked with a blend of pulses and grains, the new range comprises high protein Bread, Rolls, Wraps and Sandwich Thins. Each product is high in both protein and fibre.
The launch of Warburtons new Protein range builds on the growing number of big-name brands which have brought about a shift in the accessibility of products with added protein.
With each product available for an RRP of £1.20, the new range includes: Protein Wholemeal 400g loaf, Protein Wholemeal Rolls (4 pack), Protein Wholemeal Thins (4 pack) and Protein Wholemeal Soft Wraps (4 pack).
Darren Littler, Warburtons innovation director, said: “As the leaders in bakery innovation for over 140 years, it is our role to adapt and expand our ranges to meet evolving consumer tastes and needs.
“It became clear to us that there was a real demand for a protein-packed option that tastes just like normal Bakery, and our new Protein range makes it easy and convenient for people to enjoy more as part of their daily routine.”
The launch of the new range will be supported by an integrated communications campaign, including a focus on PR and digital.
