Tennent’s has launched its new low calorie, low-ABV beer, Tennent’s Light in bottle format into stores across Scotland.

The arrival of Tennent’s Light into off-trade follows an exclusive launch to the on-trade in February this year which was halted due to the closure of pubs, bars and restaurants in response to the coronavirus pandemic. There are 60 calories per 300ml bottle and it has a 3.5% ABV.

Marketing services manager at Tennent’s Iain Telford said: “After months of finalising the perfect recipe and an initial launch to the on-trade hampered following the Covid outbreak, we’re incredibly excited to bring Tennent’s Light to Scotland’s stores, giving people even more ways to enjoy our new low calorie, low ABV great tasting beer.

To celebrate the launch, Tennent’s Light is offering an all-exclusive trip for six to a remote lighthouse in Scotland. The exclusive break will give the lucky holidaymakers the chance to enjoy a lighter moment this year as they escape to remote surroundings and get back to nature on Scotland’s coast before heading in doors to enjoy a unique private dining experience accompanied by Tennent’s Light.
