Choc Nibbles manufacturer Sweetdreams has joined forces with Hancocks Cash and Carry to develop Reindeer Droppings.

The 175g gift packs make for humorous stocking fillers. They are available in boxes of 12 with an rrp of £1 per pack, creating a margin of 27% for retailers.

The quirky treats will form part of Hancocks’ Kingsway Let it Snow range, 28 new products designed specifically for the festive season.

The products will also be available through Booker in fixed display units, which are being presold into Premier Stores on a special deal.

Matthew Stephenson, managing director at Sweetdreams, said: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Hancocks to develop a new seasonal line for Christmas 2015. This year we wanted to create a fun product that would really stand out to both retailers and consumers. Choc Nibbles may not be the prettiest of chocolate, but by utilising their unusual look we’ve created a truly memorable festive treat.”

Jonathan Summerley, purchasing director at Hancocks Cash and Carry, added: “The confectionery industry is continuously changing as are trends in packaging formats. Retailers are always looking for unique formats just like what we have developed with Sweetdreams that will provide an extra edge which will appeal to consumers.

“Reindeer Droppings will offer Choc Nibbles the ideal platform to strengthen its brand and product awareness and we are pleased to be able to help position the product amongst the independent sector.”
