Starburst is back on TV with a brand new advert showing how ‘Unexplainably Juicy’ it is.

The ‘Land of Intensity’ creative will run for 16 weeks, incorporating a mixture of TV and VOD spots.

The ad sees viewers transported to the ‘Land of Intensity’, where Starburst fills its chews with intense juiciness and features some of the land’s strongest men straining every muscle to passionately deliver the intense juicy flavour that goes into Starburst.

Wrigley European confections business unit director Tony Lorman said: “Starburst is the juiciest chew around, and this new TV ad perfectly communicates how Unexplainably Juicy it tastes in a tongue-in-cheek way.

“Starburst sales continue to grow, with the brand now worth £24.1 million and growing at 5.6% YOY2. This new TV ad represents the highest media spend for the brand in recent years, and will work to generate maximum exposure amongst consumers, providing retailers with an additional opportunity to drive sales.”

This year also sees the introduction of new reduced sized outers that can be placed on counters to help drive further sales.  The outers now include 24 45g sticks (rrp 49p each), 12 192g pouches (rrp £1.28 each) or 12 150g bags (rrp £1 pmp).
