Sacla has introduced new Pesto Shots with the aim of adding value to the pesto category.

The new Pesto Shots are available from June 8 in an easy-to-open mini pot format with each sleeve containing four 45g pots of Classic Basil Pesto, with an rrp of £2.79.

Recipe direction and tips for pesto use also appear on the inside of the sleeves.

Clare Blampied, Sacla’s UK managing director, said: “With convenience and portion size being two key factors for consumers when looking at the new format, Pesto Shots are well positioned to drive penetration and usage occasions as well as significantly adding value to the pesto category.”
