Pip & Nut has launched its new Cashew Butter and a Limited Edition Crunchy Maple Peanut Butter.

The firms says its new variants, available now, are in answer to increasing consumer demand and the continued growth of the nut butter category.

The Cashew Butter (rrp £3.95 per 250g) is made using roasted cashews and a pinch of sea salt to create a naturally sweet, nutty flavour.

The Limited Edition Crunchy Maple Peanut Butter (rrp £2.30 per 250g) is naturally sweetened with a drizzle of Canadian maple syrup. This is the first in what will be a series of limited edition flavours and will be on sale for nine months, with a new one rolling out next February.

Pippa Murray said: “We’re really excited to be adding these two new flavours to our product range and always aim to excite our customers with something a little different. Not only that but we know people are always on the look out for healthy products, which are free from refined sugar, that are naturally high in protein and healthy fats but most importantly still taste great. We’ve had a strong start to the year, with fantastic ongoing support from our retail partners. We are now on track to hit £3.3m in sales in our first full year of trading which is a 500% growth from 2015”
