The reindeer-shaped Merryteaser (rrp: 65p) from Mars Chocolate is set to take checkouts by storm this Christmas.

A festive version of springtime smash the MaltEaster Bunny, Mars is confident that the Merryteaser will be as successful as its rabbit-shaped counterpart, which generated £3.3m sales over its 12-week debut back in Easter 2009.

The firm is also launching a white variant of its Galaxy Gift For You Christmas self-eat (rrp: 65p).
