Maltesers has made the transition into bar and block format with new Teasers.

The product is made from a bubble shaped mould to symbolise Maltesers, but with a higher chocolate to honeycomb ratio, making it a more filling chocolate fix.

Available as a 35g single (rrp 57p), or a 150g sharing block (rrp £2.09), the launch will be backed by a £4m marketing campaign, including a bespoke TV ad airing on April 21, with a further burst on July 18.

Mars Chocolate expects the product “reenergise the block category”, where growth has slowed to just 1.7%. Teasers will be supported by a range of POS material, including dumpbins, countertop units and wobblers.
