Malibu is adding to its premix can portfolio with the launch of its new Sparkling Pineapple variant.
Available from the end of June, the new flavour comes after its Facebook fans named pineapple as one of their favourite mixers to use when drinking the brand.
A teaser campaign and on-going Facebook activity will support the launch, which comes just in time for the key summer trading period.
Patrick Venning, Pernod Ricard’s marketing director, said: “The introduction of the new Malibu & Sparkling Pineapple can taps into multiple trends among Malibu’s target audience. This new variant gives a fresh reason for both consumers and retailer to engage with the brand.”
