Kraft Foods is launching Wispa in a bitesize format with Cadbury Bitsa Wispa. Available in a convenient, re-sealable sharing format, the 130g bags are expected to benefit from the continued popularity of the Big Night In occasion. The chocolate bags category is worth £313m and is growing by 4.5% year on year, claims Kraft. Bitesize products currently account for 9.5% of chocolate sales, and 6.8% of total confectionery sales, adds the firm. The Wispa brand as a whole will be supported with £3.5m marketing spend later this year.
