Kraft Foods is looking to grow bitesize sales with the launch of Cadbury Pretzels. The firm claims that pretzels have seen 14% growth year-on-year, while chocolate bags are growing at 5.7% annually. The 110g bags are targetted at the Big Night In market, and are particularly suited to formal eating occasions, such as dinner parties, says Kraft. The company will be supporting the launch with pre-filled point of sale units, sampling, and outdoor advertising.
