Hancocks has added a range of slush syrups and machines to its Kingsway range.

The Kingsway Slush Syrups come in 13 flavours including: strawberry, blue raspberry, bubblegum, iron brew, lemon and lime, sour apple, mango and cherry.

With the a 7:1 ratio of water to syrup and the 5l tubs costing £10.99 each, retailers can sell 126 cups at an rrp of £1 – earning margins of 90%, claims Hancocks.

Hancocks also offers the Kingsway Slush Triple and Twin machines, and for the first time, there is a package available consisting of the slush machine, slush syrups, cups and straws.

Hancocks purchasing director Jonathan Summerley said: “Over the past few years, slush machines have become an increasingly popular trend in the confectionery industry, with independent retailers taking advantage of consumer demand and using them to gain a competitive advantage for their business.

“Slush appeals to a wide demographic of consumers, including nostalgic adults and allows retailers to earn enormous margins.”

The company is also offering a free stand deal on its sharing bags of sweets. Customers can claim a free share bag stand when they purchase 20 cases of Kingsway Share Bags. Plus, until April 15, Hancocks has reduced the price of its Kingsway Share Bags to £4.80 per case of 10 (saving £1.20 per case). This means retailers can purchase 20 cases of product and get a free stand for £96.

There are 27 family favourites to choose from, including: Dolly Mixtures, Bon Bons, Snowies, Liquorice Allsorts, Wine Gums and Jelly Babies, retailers can earn 42% when sold at an rrp of £1.
