The Collective is adding a limited edition pear ‘n’ maple (RRP £2.00 per 450g tub) flavour to its Gourmet yoghurts range.

The yoghurt base is combined with two layers of the pear compote, made using caramalised William pear, finished off with a pinch of sea salt to cut through the sweetness.

Amelia Harvey, co-founder of The Collective, said: “We love to experiment with unexpected flavours when creating our Limited Editions. As we head into cooler climes, what better way to embrace the season with the comforting taste and texture of pear coupled with the buttery notes of maple syrup; we’ve added a touch of salt in too which gives the traditional flavour a bit of an edge.”

Previous limited editions have included; strawberry ‘n’ mascarpone, super berries, brownlee apple and blackberry, which supported the Brownlee Foundation and Honeyed Plum and Stem Ginger in memory of its co-founder Mike Hodgson and supporting The Community Heartbeat Trust.

The yoghurt is available from mid October until January in Co-Op stores.
