This spring, Gallo Family Vineyards is adding a new flavour to its Spritz portfolio - Wild Strawberry.
The gently fizzed and fruity drink joins the Raspberry & Lime, Pineapple & Passionfruit and Peach & Nectarine variants and capitalises on the growing trend towards fruit flavoured wines, a category now worth £104 million and growing by 21% year on year (Niesen Mat Total Market 31.12.2016).
Spritz Wild Strawberry has an ABV of 9% and has been created for those who prefer drinks with a sweeter and fruitier taste profile and with a similar ABV to traditional wine. Best served chilled or over ice, it provides a light and refreshing alternative for those who are new to wine or simply those who want to try something different.

Gallo will support the launch of Spritz Wild Strawberry with an eye-catching and integrated marketing campaign targeting millennial consumers. The campaign, which highlights Gallo’s commitment to developing the Spritz portfolio, will include ATL, social media and PR. Gallo Family Vineyards will also be launching a new shipper design across the Spritz range with the aim of increasing standout and variant differentiation in cash and carry channels.
