‘Free from’ and vegan brand, Free and Easy has unveiled a range of natural cake mixes with free-from consumers in mind.
The four-strong range will be suitable for those with allergies or intolerances to the 14 most common allergens – including wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts and soya – as well as those following a vegetarian or vegan diet.
Formulated without refined sugars, the cake mixes will be available in three variants made with coconut blossom sugar - Sponge Cake, Carrot Cake and Ginger Cake – and one sugar-free variant made with xylitol – Chocolate Cake.
The products have an RSP of £3.49 for the Sponge, Ginger and Chocolate flavours, and £3.75 for the Carrot.
All the new cake mixes remain free from artificial additives and preservatives and all contain a vegan egg replacer for those wishing to maintain an egg-free regime.
Manufacturer, Healthy Food Brands will be supporting the new products in a targeted above-and below-the-line campaign running throughout 2017.
