Eisberg has added to its alcohol-free wine range with the launch of a new Sauvignon Blanc variant.

Made in exactly the same way as all quality wines, but with the alcohol gently removed, the Sauvignon Blanc contains “classic gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours”, but contains only 28 calories per 125ml serving and no more than 0.05% alcohol.

The Halewood-owned brand has also listened to consumer demand for grown-up alternatives to alcohol when out of the home, producing the Eisberg Alcohol-Free Sauvignon Blanc as 187ml single serve bottles targeted at the on-trade. This will be the first alcohol free variety to be made available in minis.

Fran Draper, brand manager for Eisberg Alcohol-Free Wine, comments: “Sauvignon Blanc is the ‘go to’ white for UK wine drinkers, and now, there is no need for the designated driver, pregnant customer or even charity abstainer to miss out.

“Our winemakers have taste tested the product extensively pre-launch, to ensure the quality of the Sauvignon Blanc grape remains, even after the alcohol has been gently removed.”

The new Eisberg Sauvignon Blanc is an exciting addition to Halewood International’s alcohol-free wine brand that already includes the juicy and light Rosé, a full-bodied Chardonnay and a smooth Cabernet Sauvignon.
