Dr. Oetker Baking is launching two new innovative first-to-market product ranges.

Dr. Oetker Easy Choc Milk Chocolate (rrp £1.79 per 150g) is the only ready to melt chocolate flavoured covering in a pot on the market - for cakes and biscuits. Easy Choc is easy to melt in the microwave at home and is useful for making simple crispy cakes or as a drizzle or a glossy ganache. For a truly indulgent treat, Easy Choc also makes a gooey fondue dip for fruits and marshmallows at parties.

Currently the second biggest sub category in home baking, chocolate accounts for 11.4% of sales and is worth £18.6m, according to the brand. 

Also new for Spring, Dr. Oetker Easy Ice (rrp £0.79 per 100g) is the only ready to use glace icing on the market and offers bakers a simple, colourful and versatile ‘wow’ finish. Just great for family baking fun and perfect to finish off cupcakes, biscuits, eclairs or fondant fancies, Easy Ice is available in pink, yellow or chocolate and is ready to use straight from the sachet. Consumers simply remove the corner and squeeze the pack.

The fifth biggest sub category in home baking, soft icings accounts for 10.4% of sales, worth £17.2m and Dr. Oetker is already strong in this category holding 12% (IRI) market share with their Easy Swirl Icing products. Easy Ice will further grow this competitive lead and cement the brand firmly as an innovator with mums who love convenience and kids who will love the vibrant colours.
