Coca-Cola Enterprises has introduced a new 12 x 500ml PET case format across selected flavoured carbonates.
In an act to support convenience retailers, Coca-Cola has now made Fanta, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Lilt and Cherry Coke available in the new case sizes across both £1 pmps and standard packs.
The launch follows the success of its existing 12 x 500ml PET case size which launched last year in Coca-Cola Zero and Coca-Cola Life variants. Coca-Cola hopes the change will enable wholesalers to better support retailers so they can stock a broader range of soft drinks across a variety of sectors to meet consumer needs.
Simon Harrison, wholesale sales director at Coca-Cola Enterprises, said: “We work closely with wholesalers and independent retailers to ensure they can provide their customers with choice in both flavour and format.
“We also recognise that stocking larger case sizes can be difficult for some retailers, particularly those with limited storage space. Our aim with this new case format is to give our customers more flexibility than they’ve had previously to stock the right amount of product for their store.”
