Honeycomb

The bar will join the Cadbury Dairy Milk line-up in January after receiving the highest number of votes from members of the public in Mondelez’s second Cadbury Inventor competition.

Formally known as Crunchy Honeycomb, the bar fought off stiff competition from coconut and blueberry variants to be crowned the winner.

Invented by 19-year-old Nottingham student Shannon Beech, the product combines milk chocolate with honeycomb pieces and caramel-flavoured fudge, finished with chopped hazelnuts. The bar has received a new pack design and been renamed to further highlight the bar’s nut content.

Beatrice Berutti, tablets brand manager at Cadbury, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to reveal Shannon as the winner of our second Cadbury Inventor Competition. We love experimenting with different flavours, especially when we can bring our fans into the process of inventing new and wonderful creations.”
