Babease, the British baby food brand, has unveiled a new generation of vegetable-led organic baby food products to help parents introduce savoury flavours to baby meal times.

With two unique ranges suitable for infants aged four months plus and seven months plus, Babease is targeting health-conscious parents looking to wean their children with organic, nutritious baby food that uses a diverse range of flavours and where possible, locally grown ingredients, some of which have never been seen in baby food. 

The recipes are based predominantly around vegetables, contain no hidden fruit and are specially formulated using the combined expertise of nutritionists and a chef. All its recipes are also gluten and dairy free.

Variants within the range include the Stage 1 range (RRP £1.29), recommended for six months plus, but suitable for babies aged four months plus and Stage 2 (RRP £1.59) for babies aged seven months plus. 

Stage 1 contains: sweet potato, carrot and cauliflower, butternut squash, carrot and broccoli, pumpkin and pea, sweet potato and pear with coconut water, brown rice and quinoa, banana, pear and blueberry with brown rice, pear and mixed berries with coconut water, brown rice and quinoa. 

Stage 2 contains sweet potato, tomato, carrot and quinoa with chickpeas and cumin butternut squash, quinoa and beetroot with onion and sage, chickpea, pumpkin, tomato and coconut cream with herbs and mild masala, broccoli, parsnip, green and puy lentils with onion, fennel, tomato and herbs, brown rice, swede, courgette and kale with onion, garlic and thyme.
