Classic British dessert brand Angel Delight has added a duo of jellies inspired by Bubble Tea
Called Angel Delight Bubble, the ambient desserts combine jelly with “a burst of flavour and a pop of texture similar to that of bubble tea,” supplier Premier Foods said.
Multipacks in Strawberry with Strawberry Boba, Mango with Passionfruit Boba and Lemonade with Strawberry Boba will roll into Sainsbury’s stores on 7 September with an RRP of £2.85 for four pots, ahead of a wider rollout.
“Bubble tea isn’t just a drink – it’s a cultural moment,” said Rob Watson, brand director at Premier Foods. “With Angel Delight Bubble Jelly, we’ve captured the flavour and fun of the famous popping boba and created a dessert that’s as bold and bubbly as it is delicious.2
The launch of Angel Delight Bubble will be supported by a social media campaign, kicking off at the end of this month.
