Ambrosia is extending into the premium ambient desserts market with a new range called Ambrosia Deluxe.

The brand is introducing its creamiest, most luxurious and velvety custard range ever. Made with fresh cream and blended with the finest blend of ingredients to create a more indulgent finish to meals, the range will be available in a variety of exciting flavours - Vanilla with Clotted Cream, Vanilla with Creamy Toffee and Vanilla with Salted Caramel.

 Ambrosia brand director Grace Liljemark said: “Ambrosia is a leading brand that consumers know, love and trust, with a 31.5% (IRI)share of the ambient desserts category. We have a great opportunity to build on Ambrosia’s heritage and popularity to bring additional value to the desserts category, and offer mid-week dessert treats.”

Ambrosia Deluxe Custard will have the same shelf life as the classic custard range and will be available across grocery, impulse and wholesale channels in 150g individual pots, 500g cartons and 400g can formats (Clotted Cream and Creamy Toffee), design to meet individual consumer sharing needs. The range will have an RRP of £0.75 (150g), £1.29 (400g), and £1.39 (500g).
