Fine food confectioner Flower & White is introducing two limited editions to the range in time for Christmas.

Flower & White’s Rich Brandy Butter is a sweetened unsalted butter with a splash of French brandy, while its Extra Thick Brandy Cream is sweetened and pasteurised double cream with French brandy. The producer suggests using the latter as a “boozy filling for brandy snaps”, or as an addition to meringue, with seasonal fruit, such as figs or oranges.

The two chilled 200g products, which will join its existing products such as Merangz and Eggz, are suitable for vegetarians and are gluten-free.

Brian Crowther, co-founder, said: “No festive feast is complete without a seasonal serving of brandy cream or butter. If you are going to treat yourselves, we believe you should do it in style, with our luxury approach to well-known favourites.”
