The Elves at Nestlé Confectionery have been busy working on new products for the firm’s 2013 Christmas range. Best-selling impulse line Quality Street My Purple Bar is being joined by hazelnut praline flavoured My Green Bar (rrp: 65p). The brand will also see the addition of a £1 mini carton, which acts as both a self-eat and a stocking filler.

Meanwhile, the firm is targeting kids with self-eat Smarties Little Choc Penguin and new pal Milkybar Polar Bear Cub (rrp: 65p).

If you have room for novelty gifting products, then Smarties Robin and Milkybar Snowy Owl foil-wrapped treats (rrp: £2.07) could add interest to shelves. Giant sweet-filled novelties Quality Street Purely Purple Ones and Totally Toffee Fingers (both rrp: £6.00) are also new for 2013.
