Energy company npower has launched a new online social resource for small business owners which provides blogs and information on saving money, and energy efficiency.

The npower blog also features up-to-date news and information, staff profiles, guides, and how-to videos.

The developement was in response to consumers’ growing interest in managing their energy use, said Emily Ward, social marketing manager at npower.

“We know there is a lot of information out there, which can be confusing, so the new npower blog is designed to be a one-stop resource for both domestic energy consumers and small business owners,” she added.

“The blog is also designed to be interactive, enabling consumers to enter into the energy debate, share content, and let us know the kind of content they want to see. We believe the blog will be an important channel for how we communicate with our customers now and in the future.”
