New data revealed by Vape Superstore today (4 August) has revealed the staggering amount vapers save in a year when making the switch from cigarettes.
It shoes that smokers spend more than their annual energy bills on their habit, which on average costs £112 a week (based on just 10 cigarettes a day), or a whopping £2,920 a year.
When compared to vaping, the average costs of which comes in at £40 a month, the savings amount to £2,440 a year – over £200 a month.
David Phillips, lead content writer, said: “There’s typically a lot of focus on the health aspect of moving from smoking to vaping, but there’s a financial incentive too.
“Smokers could save a substantial amount of money each month by simply making the switch to vapes. If smokers are committed to leaving tobacco behind and moving forward with vapes, the financial savings and smoke-free lifestyle are motivating factors to quit for good.”
