Convenience Store publisher William Reed Business Media has secured a deal with the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) to co-locate the ACS Annual Summit with the National Convenience Show (NCS) for the next three years.
The two events were co-located for the first time in March 2011 and attracted record-breaking numbers of visitors, with a 17% increase in attendance at the ACS Summit. More than 40% of exhibitors at the 2011 event have already signed up to attend in 2012.
ACS chief executive James Lowman described the partnership as a "winning formula". Securing the ACS' long-term partnership was also an important step forward for the NCS, said Andrew Reed, managing director for Events & Exhibitions at William Reed Business Media. "We have now firmly established NCS as the focal point for the convenience retail industry," he added.
NCS 2012 takes place at Birmingham's NEC from March 25 to27.
