Independent retailers can make big savings thanks to a SMS Christmas promotion from cash and carry Makro.
The promotion is running throughout December and each week will feature a different offer, with the details being revealed via text only a couple of days before the promotion starts.
To sign up retailers can text MAKRO followed by their name and nearest depot to 80800. Retailers will then receive one free text each week, revealing the pricing. As well as the weekly offers, there are deals running in the depots throughout the entire month.
Products on offer include Smirnoff vodka, Carlsberg, Pepsi soft drinks, Walkers crisps and Cadbury's chocolate. All of the deals have been specifically chosen to be most relevant to independent retailers.
Makro customer director Mark Copeland said: "People are swamped with offers at this time of year and it was important to us that ours focused on the items that were most useful to them. We hope this offer provides some additional support at what is one of the most important times of the year to many independent retailers, and brings a bit of fun into the equation, too."
