Costcutter has revealed the corporate brand identity for its new Kwiksave convenience stores - the first of which is poised to open near Bolton.

Retailer Bav Parekh, in the village of Little Lever, is currently converting his 3,500sq ft Premier store into the first Kwiksave convenience store, which will be launched at the beginning of April.

Costcutter Supermarkets Group chief executive Nick Ivel said: “Kwiksave was a fixture on the high street for many years. Its core proposition was value, and this is something that our new format will continue.

“Our three-fascia strategy with Kwiksave, Costcutter and MyCostcutter ensures we have the correct product for three distinct market segments.”

Bav said he made the switch to Kwiksave because of the “bigger exposure to a range of products, increased chilled lines and second-to-none after-sales”.
