Some of the country’s leading independent retailers and convenience experts will be sharing their insight into the growing mealtime opportunity at Convenience Store’s annual conference in London next month.
Entitled ‘A Full Day of Opportunities’, the event on 3 February will consider the huge potential for convenience stores to grow their sales by successfully targeting breakfast, lunch and evening meal occasions.
Some of the UK’s most innovative and successful convenience operators will be presenting, including David Charman of Spar Parkfoot, Roli Ranger of Londis Ascot and Sunninghill, and Premier retailer Dan Cocks. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Davinder Jheeta, creative director of the innovative and fast-growing symbol group Simply Fresh, and there will be further contributions from a panel of leading retailers including Paul Cheema from the multi-award winning Malcolm’s Stores.
The conference will also hear from him! Managing Director Jill Livesey about how shoppers are demanding meal solutions from their local stores, as well as an exclusive reveal of brand new research into how convenience retailers are developing their offer in this exciting and dynamic new mega-category.
An overseas perspective will also be provided by Tom Fender, director at him! International, as well as a video case study from one of Northern Ireland’s leading exponents of food to go.
