Scottish independent retailers serviced by Aberness scored a hat-trick in the Convenience Tracking Programme Awards organised by consultancy him! - and then went on the scoop the top award for best overall retailer.
The independents won the awards for most friendly staff, fastest service and best symbol/independent retailer. All were voted for by customers.
Retailers voted Parfetts best cash and carry and, with suppliers, voted P&H McLane best distributor.
Staff voted Bells best retailer, with Spar Tates and Botterills in second and third places respectively. Bells also took the best managed retailer award as voted by shoppers. BP Connect won best managed forecourt chain and Jet won best dealer group.
