The Independent Sector winner was Louise Hutson, of Ansell Village Store, in Shillington, Bedfordshire.

As a naturally hard-working person, she has taken on responsibility for the running of the entire store and even ordering stock for all four of owner Steve Ansell’s stores, since starting as a part-time cashier only three years ago.

Louise also devotes her time to community events by selling raffle tickets and organising fundraising.
