Ken says it’s been a happy marriage. I find that statement astounding. The CoOp have delivered on nothing that was promised in the sale offer to shareholders. Where are the better promotions? Where are the better retails? Most of all where is the extra 5% margin?
All they have done is force-fed CoOp own label and killed off Heritage. They stated that they would keep Heritage as long as retailers wanted it. They haven’t given us a chance, they have committed it to an early grave. The latest announcement being that Heritage fresh milk finishes at the end of January.
As far as a happy marriage goes I think Ken and his team have killed the relationship. They keep calling it a “Partnership”, sorry it’s more like a dictatorship.
I think Ken may need to visit a marriage guidance counsellor.
