Nisa regard this store as a template for independent retailing, encouraging its retail partners to follow suit. Yet the store only sources 5% of fresh produce and 20% of grocery from Nisa itself.

The mind boggles just how much development money Nisa bunged into this store to aid it’s fit out costs. And how long it’ll take to repay.

Hardly a classic example of grounded UK convenience retailing.

I have a desperate love for the Coop model and want to be the first to open the Nisa basest coop franchise. But I can’t get a whopper bung to help me over the hurdle.
The store looks wonderful, to replicate it across the UK would be foolish.
