Hi Jac,

Since the 25th of May the data protection law has changed - it is known as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
I won't bore you with all of the details but there is a lot more for stores to do to be GDPR ready - and as you say they will all have CCTV which is classed as personal information!
There will be more and clearer rights for individuals - one of these is the right to have access to our personal data - this includes CCTV.
Convenience stores are woefully ill-equipped to deal with this which is why we developed our convenience store solution at www.gdprsystems.co.uk .
