Batchelors is launching its Super Noodles Pots into the convenience sector, alongside a retailer competition, offering one lucky winner a branded hot water station.

The pots are being launched across the convenience channel after the range was introduced to grocers last year. They are available in four flavours; Chicken, BBQ Beef, Curry, and Bacon, and sold in 75g pots (rrp £1.09 with a 75p promotional price).

Steve Kelly, convenience channel director at brand owner Premier Foods, said: “People love Batchelors Super Noodles and the new pot format has helped us to modernise the range, making it more relevant for the convenience market and impulse occasions.

“We have experienced first-hand how successful this format is, with 16.9m units of Super Noodles Pots sold since the launch into grocery, demonstrating the real appetite for this product.”

The retailer competition is running from August 6 until September 30. To be in with a chance of winning, retailers must submit their full name, contact number, and store details on a postcard entitled ’Batchelors Competition’ to Cirkle PR, Canon House, 27 London End, Beaconsfield HP9 2HN or email batchelors@cirkle.com.

Kelly added: “With 5.2 million Super Noodles buyers each year, we are confident that launching our pot format into convenience will help retailers drive further sales. Our competition, which will see one retailer win a hot water station for their store, will create a buzz around the launch and also help us raise awareness of the opportunity retailers have to offer their shoppers a quick meal solution in-store with Batchelors.”
