For those consumers not willing to share their Carte D’Or ice cream, manufacturer Unilever is introducing 200ml tubs in chocolate, caramel, and cherry variants. “2011 has seen a continued growth in the minis market yet there is an evident gap for a premium product offering, which Carte D’Or is well placed to fill,” says brand manager Florence Howell. The launch will be supported by a six-week marketing campaign involving print advertising.
