Dark Horse is adding a Rosé wine to its portfolio ready for the spring and summer months.

Modern and edgy, with a dry taste profile, Dark Horse Rosé (rrp £8.50, ABV 12.%) will be available from retailers nationwide from April. Dark Horse Rosé was launched in the US in 2016 with the aim of tapping into the popular Rosé trend and in just under two years, it has established itself as the #1 Premium Rosé, growing at a rate of 75% (IRI ending 26.11.17). The brand aims to emulate that success in the UK, where the Premium Rosé category is growing by 35% in volume and 42% in value (Nielsen MAT 27.02.18).

A carefully crafted blend of Grenache, Barbera, Pinot Grigio, Tempranillo and Zinfandel, Dark Horse Rosé is the perfect wine to enjoy in the sunshine.

Dark Horse has enjoyed an impressive growth of 80% (vs 4.8% for the premium category) over the past 12 months (Nielsen MAT 27.02.18 Total £7+ by volume), driven by sales of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc varietals.
