Dalston’s Soda Company is kick-starting 2019 with the launch of four new skus, hitting stores in time for Dry January.

The brand is introducing two new fruity flavours: fizzy rhubarb; and fizzy blackcurrant, to its core range of sodas.

The skus will be joined by a new range of Soda Lights: real squeezed elderflower; and real squeezed rhubarb, containing no added sugar or sweeteners and under 20 calories.

With young people dramatically reducing their alcohol intake and looking for healthier, booze-free alternatives, Dalson’s new offer is designed to tak advantage of demand for natural soft drinks. All new additions will be sold in 330ml cans with an rrp of £1.09.

Duncan O’Brien, founder of Dalston’s Soda Company, said: “Millennials are losing their taste for sugar, and placing even more emphasis on health. That’s why we chose to develop our new range of Lights – which we’ll be adding to, over the next few years. Competitors cram their ‘diet’ drinks with sweeteners or artificial flavourings which is not good for you. It was time for us to step up and show what naturally light, refreshingly fruity sodas should really taste like.”

The new Dalston’s Classics and Soda Lights range is available to independent retailers now.
