Independent retailers will get a chance to have their say about the challenges and opportunities of the current climate in a special debate at next month’s Convenience Retailing Show.

The C-Store Champions Debate, entitled Reasons to be Cheerful, will be chaired by C-Store editor David Rees and will focus on how retailers can maximise business opportunities in the current economic climate. Retailers of all sizes, wholesalers, suppliers and anyone with an interest in local retailing are invited to attend.

The debate will take place at 11.30am on Monday, March 2 as part of the Take More Make More feature, which will include a number of business-building sessions over the three-day show, including an update on the tobacco sector by JTI, ‘Ideas to Take Away’ sessions featuring leading suppliers, and the latest ‘Heart of the Community’ forum hosted by ACS.

CRS is staged at Birmingham’s NEC on March 1-3.
