A once-in-a lifetime opportunity to carry the official Olympic flame on its progress around Britain next year is up for grabs for readers of Convenience Store.
Your favourite fortnightly has a place in the torch relay to give away, courtesy of Coca-Cola, an official presenting partner of the Olympic Torch Relay.
The flame will be carried by about 110 people a day on a 70-day progress around Britain starting in May next year, culminating in the lighting of the Olympic cauldron during the opening ceremony on July 27, 2012. Each leg of the relay is approximately 300 metres long.
The organisers are looking for people who are a true inspiration to those around them by showing a burning passion for sport or the environment, or through their involvement in projects in the community.
