Microsoft is to be Tesco's next target with the launch of a range of own-brand computer software going live this month.
The multiple giant is to launch a range of home and office software products through 100 of its larger stores and a website, TescoSoftware.com, later this month. The first batch reportedly includes personal finance, photo-editing, DVD-burning and computer security programs, as well as a competitor to Microsoft Office.
The products, which have been devised by software firm Formjet, will sell for less than £20 each.
