A Co-op store manager was assaulted as he left work for refusing to serve a customer who was believed to be buying alcohol for a youth.
The 20-year-old duty manager at the Eggbuckland store in Plymouth was followed home after he had locked up the store and punched in the face. The blow was so severe that the manager's tooth was driven through his lip.
Police have released a CCTV photograph of a youth they want to question about the attack, who is described as 15- to 17 years old.
