Today’s Group’s digital guide to core ranging, Plan for Profit, has hit a record of more than 21,000 visitors over the past year.
More than 14,000 retailers have used the website to download information, with planograms receiving more than 10,000 hits.
Some 20% of retailers accessed the site via their mobile phone, while 10% visited it via a tablet, demonstrating the growing importance of mobile technology in independent retailer.
Other site features include a point-of-sale printer, a find-your-local-depot page, core-ranging advice, a profit-on-return calculator and new product launches.
John Kinney, retail director at Today’s, said: “Businesses are increasingly seeing digital as an opportunity to drive growth; independent retailers are no exception.
“We are giving retailers the tools they need to grow, in a way that’s profitable and easy, whether it’s via a desktop, tablet or mobile phone.”
